One of the most effective ways to build a larger audience and keep this audience interested is to Generate Buzz, you might ask how will this help when I am just starting, I have very little readership so how will this generate more page views. If you generate buzz you make your blog interesting and readers will want to return to see what you have for them next. It also encourages other bloggers to promote your blog. If you are doing something exciting, other bloggers can make their blog more exciting just my linking back to you, and this obviously improves your page views.
It is also a question of the future your blog, you blog or website might not be very popular now but in the future when it is more popular if you have exciting content, this content will still be popular hopefully years down the track, and therefore still making money for you.
