Qantas begin selling tickets for its inaugural A380 Flight

Qantas today started selling tickets for the first inaugural flight of its Airbus A380, this first Qantas A380 flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles will take place on Monday 20^th of October, and will be followed by the first Qantas Airbus A380 flight from Sydney to Los Angeles on Friday 24^th of October. These first two flights Melbourne Los Angeles return and Sydney Los Angeles return will be operated by the same aircraft named Nancy Bird-Walton (MSN014 VH-OQA).

Burn Google Ads with Adsense for FeedBurner

It has been a long time coming, but good news has finally arrived. From next week Feedburner which was recently acquired by Google will start rolling out to a select number of publishers, Google Adsense for Feedburner.

While this is good news and will allow Feedburner publishers to add an additional source of income, the bad news is, unless you’re a publisher with thousands of subscribed readers; don’t expect to earn much the program. Past research has shown that ads in RSS Feeds generate a very low conversion rate.

The feedburner blog says the following:

So what will this mean for you? Well, publishers already in the FeedBurner Ad Network will continue to see premium CPM ads directly sold onto their content, but with the added bonus of contextually targeted ads that will fill up the remainder of their inventory. Digital Cameras for blogging and food photography

In recent weeks I have been looking into replacing my current compact digital camera with something a little more substantial. The bottom line is I am awfully disappointed with the snaps taken on my Canon IXUS 65, its photos look washed out and lifeless, night and restaurant snaps are even worse. I purchased the IXUS 65 on a whim at duty free because my previous camera was stolen only days earlier and was attracted to the ultra compact size of the IXUS 65, given my reasonable experience in photography I should have known better, but when you are desperate and heading overseas you make uninformed decisions.

The camera on the top of my list is the Canon EOS 5D a Professional 12.8 MP full frame digital SLR, that has a reputation as one of the best entry level professional Digital SLRs. On further investigation I find the EOS 5D is rumored to be replaced within the next 6 months by a 16 Mega Pixel EOS 5D Mark II.

Decision time what will I do?

Loving the latest gadget, gizmos and technology I have decided to wait for the EOS 5D Mark II but in the mean time I will most likely purchase a stop gap camera that will meet my requirements for low light shots (Restaurant, Food photography). I am thinking of the Canon Powershot A650IS, because of its good zoom, image stability, and larger 1/1.7 CCD sensor. You can be assured this time I will take trip to my local camera shop to take a look at its images.

With some important events, product reviews and overseas trips coming up in the next few months which include the launch of the Qantas Airbus A380 and Emirates Airbus A380, my next camera is extremely important, so if you have any thoughts or recommendations about my choice I would be happy to hear your advice.

Dong Ba Bun Bo Hue Spicy Vietnamese Noodle Soup

Last week Hoang Anh and I headed over to one our favorite eating places in Sydney, Dong Ba Bun Bo Hue in Bankstown, as the name suggests their specialty is Bun Bo Hue or Spicy Vietnamese Noodle Soup. Bun Bo Hue is the lesser known cousin to Pho in the western world, but in Vietnam, and in my opinion it’s as popular at the mighty Pho.

If you have never tried Bun Bo Hue and like a little spice, I defiantly recommend giving it a try, and if you live in Sydney Dong Ba in either Bankstown or Cabramatta is a must, I rate their Bun Bo Hue as the best in Australia, and better than the majority found in Vietnam.

Best in Australia is a big title, but trust me I am married to a Vietnamese lady and we have tried Vietnamese food all over Vietnam and Australia.

Blogging Income Success: Multiple Advertising Income Sources

If you are relying on income from one advertising source you are truly not seeing the full earning potential of your blog or website. In many cases I have seen many websites run only Google Adsense the fact is that in the majority of cases Adsense will earn you many times less than some of the sources I will discuss below, but the great news is all of my recommended money makers below can be used together, on the one page earning more revenue than you could ever thru a single source.

To give an example of this Google Adsense across my network of sites earns me an average of US$3,000 per month, not a bad supplemental income you say, but that’s only a fraction of my networks total earnings, a good month will see an average of US$15,000 in total revenue across my network, and this figure is increasing rapidly as my sites become more popular and I optomize ad spots.

So what are my recommended money makers and how can they be used effectively together?

My recommended money makers are as follows (in no relevant order)

Google Adsense
Kontera
ReviewMe
Text Link Ads
WidgetBucks
Private Ad Sales

Google Adsense

To begin no you should not drop Google Adsense, it is an easy to get into and manage revenue stream, but the trick here is to look at the type of Google ad units you use and where you use them.

I find Adsense is great to use in the top right hand corner of a post the 250 X 250 Square or 300 X 250 Medium Rectangle is a great format to use here depending on space, both of these formats also work well with forums in forum posts. The 728 X 80 Leaderboard a great format placed on the top it will get a lot of clicks especially if it is text only and matching the colour scheme of your page, this ad spot is one that I regularly sell directly to advertisers so Adsense gets moved very quickly from this position when I get a private ad sale.

Kontera

Kontera is an ad format that links or underlines words in your post, associating ads with the relevant keyword, I find Kontera does not earn me as much as Google but because of its style it can easily be used on a page without taking up additional ad spots, so it is a good additional money earner. Kontera works well on pages that see lots of traffic and with sites frequented by readers that are not so internet savvy.

ReviewMe

ReviewMe is another great revenue earning option, as it also does not take any additional advertising spots. Rather advertising is in the form of a review post on your blog or website, promoting the product or service of the company that has ordered the review. For even slightly popular sites ReviewMe can be a big money spinner, earning sometimes four to eight times more than Google Adsense.

Text Link Ads

Text Link Ads is as its name suggests is a text link advertising system, simply place their ad code in a div where you want the Text Link Ads to display, your inventory then becomes live on the Text Link Ads website and available for purchase for a set monthly rate. The rate is determined by your websites Google Page Rank (PR) and Alexa rank. Your cut of the monthly rate is 50% which can be payed into a PayPal account.

This is personally one of my favourites because it is very easy to setup and you can earn a reasonable revenue from a relatively small ad area. I use Text Link Ads in the top of the right side bar.

WidgetBucks

WidgetBucks is a new shopping/price comparison widget, which offers one of the best returns per click for this style of ad. WidgetBucks and other shopping comparison widgets are best used on blogs and websites that publish product reviews. So run WidgetBucks and see how it goes if earning are terrible remove them for something better.

Private Ad Sales

Private Ad Sales, by far the best money earner, there is some additional administrative overhead looking after the accounts and adding/removing ads but the income is normally always great, in most cases more than all of your other revenue earning methods combined

I find selling ad spots on your own website works best if you have a popular high traffic website. This by far is my best money earner across all of my websites and blog, and it empowering to know that you are cutting out the middle men, who in a lot of cases earn up to 50% of the commission.

If planning to sell Ad spots on your blog or website directly with advertisers, you need to setup an advertise here page, detailing the advertising spots available on your site, traffic details for your site, the cost for each ad spot and your terms, conditions and payment options.

You may not want to include traffic details or the cost of advertising spots, and only provide this information by email to genuine advertisers it’s up to you!

So you can see how multiple advertising revenue sources is the best option when looking to maximize your monthly revenue, I recommend experimenting with a few different programs with their different formats in different Ad spots to maximize your revenue. Give it a try and let us know how you go.

Tips for being a successful blogger or internet marketer

In the beginning blogging & internet marketing of websites can be a hard slog, putting in hours and not getting the readership and rewards you aspire to, which is why I decided to share with the blogging universe a few of the secrets that over time has made, many of my blogs & websites some of the most popular on the internet in their respective niche.

Blog because you are passionate about your niche area, and not to make money! In recent years we have seen literally hundreds of thousands of blogs and websites that have been put up for the sole purpose of trying to make a quick buck. Well guess what these are the ones that fail first. It takes a lot of time dedication and commitment to make your blog successful let along make any decent money from them. If you love and truly know the niche you are writing about, It makes the blogging experience so much easier and enjoyable especially in those first few months when you wonder if anyone will ever read your blog or website.

Post regularly, Now depending on your niche regular could mean a few posts a day, or for more in-depth and technical blogs or websites regular could be 3 posts a week. Think about what type of blog or website you have and decide now how often you plan to post, then stick to it. If you don’t post regularly you will not capture regular readers.

Develop friends and relationships with other bloggers, Developing relationships with other bloggers in your niche is extremely important, you should not see them as competitors but rather partners.

Readers of blogs and websites don’t read just one blog but many, developing a relationship with a fellow blogger is a two way street, both parties have something to gain by the relationship. When you are starting out begin by doing some research and finding as many blogs that cover the same niche as yourself, pick out the best then send them an email mentioning you liked their blog and you also run a blog on the same topic, and would like to add their blog to your blog roll, then send them your URL so they can reciprocate.

Another option is if they have written a piece you like write about it on your blog with a link back to their original post.

You might write something like the following “Jerry over at ILoveToBlog has written a great post about how to turn one off visitors into regular readers, after following his tips you will be sure to have double the number of visitors in no time, you can read the full story here”

Eventually the relationship between blogs may even develop further with competitions, promotions, or offering other bloggers to become a guest blogger on your site occasionally while you are on holidays, and vice versa.

Encourage comment and discussion, This is all about developing relationships with your readers, and between your readers, in your post you should always encourage readers to comment about what you have written, this make the blogging process more than just a one way street, and gives readers the opportunity to ask you and other readers questions.

Competitions, promotions, and free stuff are other great ways to build relationships with your readers.

Have fun you don’t always post on topic, you could occasionally post a joke, recipe, picture, or anything other than your niche that you think readers in your target demographic may find appealing. April fool’s day is one great example of this, where you can get your readers thinking you’re going to give it all up or buy a house in the outback to farm snails.

If you say you are going to do something do it, if you don’t you will come off looking uncommitted and unprofessional.

Keep active, you would have heard the analogy a rolling stone never gathers moss, over the years I have found the best way to achieve my blogging and article writing goals is to always keep active and try not to stop, I don’t mean never have a break or holiday, what I am saying, decide how many hours a day or week you will blog, a commit to it, without interruptions.

Keep yourself fit, it is a sad that over the last year some of the most popular bloggers have died, and it all comes down to their life style, sitting in front of a computer all day drinking lots of coffee & coke, not eating healthy foods, and getting very little sunlight or exercise. If you plan to become a full time blogger or do blogging after work why not take out gym membership and set aside 2 hours in your day to do some exercise then have a healthy meal, if the gym is not your scene try going for a good long hour long walk or bike ride. Personally I find exercise just before lunch energizing refreshing my mind and picking me up for the rest of the day.

Planning as far as I am concerned is one of the reasons why many bloggers don’t succeed. Planning allows you to layout your dreams and goals for the future, allowing you to stay focused on what you have set out as being important. Personally I break my planning into the following time frames

From Long term (greater than one year) then drill down to 12, 6, 3, 1 month 1 week and 1 day. With long term planning I look at where I want to be in the future with blogs/website and what I plan to achieve financially I then use this master plan to direct the rest of my planning.

So following these tips how long should it take you to start seeing reasonable traffic? This all depends on your niche and the amount of competition, but if you follow my tips above and you are covering a popular niche with not too much competition you should be able to see at least 1000/day within 6 months.

Kontera Launch Referral Program

Kontera Launch Referral Program – Kontera have now finally launched an email based referral program that pays a one off payment of US$25 for each new publisher to the Kontera ContentLink program.

So if you want to get started inviting friends, simply login to the Kontera Publisher Center, click the My Account tab, then select Invite a Friend, you will be presented with the Kontera invite a friend form as shown in figure 1 below, allowing you to enter your friends email addresses and customize your welcome message to them.

The new Kontera referral program is a welcome addition for publishers that earn less than US$100 but having said that I have some concern over how Kontera have setup and operate this new program, my concerns listed below:

The referral fee is only payed out if your friend reaches 50,000 impressions within 60 days of joining.

Granted most serious bloggers should easily achieve the 50,000 impressions within 60 days, but as with most things I have friends and readers that are just staring and might take a little more than 60 day to achieve the required 50,000 impressions, I also know of some that will sign up but take their time in implementing either because they are assessing other solutions or

No URL tracking referral tracking code, tracking is performed based on the email you enter into the Invite a Friend form that is pictured above.

This system makes it near impossible to refer readers of blogs and websites, unless you operate and your readers are subscribed to a mailing list.

This is a big failing point of Kontera’s Invite a Friend email based referral program, one example is if two different publishers invite the same friend via the same email address. Which referrer gets the $25.

Now it’s a little known fact that Kontera already have a referral program but it was targeted at high traffic publishers, earning at least US$100 every month from the Kontera program, but it uses a URL based tracking code allowing publishers to promote Kontera directly from their blog or website.

It’s good that Kontera are now opening referrals to all of its publishers but I think they seriously need to fix the two points above by firstly implementing a referral system that allows a referral commission to be earned for refered users who might take longer than 60 day to achieve the 50,000 required impressions. Finally Kontera's email based referal system needs to be changed to a URL based referral tracking code system.

The Alexa ranking system gets a facelift

Yesterday saw the Alexa ranking algorithm get a facelift, and saw many of the biggest sites like SlashDot that traditionally got an underrated Alexa rank actually improved, on the flip side the Alexa rank for many popular Internet Marketing and Make Money online blogs such as JohnChow.com Problogger.net and ShoeMoney.com actually decreased.

The reason for such a dramatic change in the Alexa rank of many sites get down to how Alexa previously derived its ranking information and how it is now derived, previously the Alexa rank was calculated from statistics generated from the Alexa toolbar, now Alexa have confirmed they are obtaining internet usage stats from multiple sources, to provide a better more even picture of internet usage patterns.

I say this correction was long sought after, the Alexa rank was always known as being unreliable giving an un-fair advantage to sites frequented by users that had the Alexa toolbar installed, which was basically the entire internet marketing, make money online, and web development community. The correction has seen the Alexa ranking of many of Flying High Media network of sites improve dramatically, I am not disappointed at all, infact quite the opposite.

Which Blog Platform to use Wordpress or Community Server

A question I get asked on a regular basis from friends, co-workers and readers of my various blogs and websites is what blogging platform should they use, in general I point them in the direction of either Wordpress or Community Server and the answer I give them depends very much on what they want to do and their slant in the operating system world.

Below is a brief overview of both Wordpress and Community Server with a list of each platforms best features and why you would want to chose one of the other.

Wordpress

Many people laugh when I mention a blogging platform other than Wordpress, and it is this popularity and hard-core following that makes it arguably the best blogging engine. Wordpress has been around for years and as you could imagine is very well developed, with literally hundreds if not thousands of free plug-ins, modules, and themes.

The out of the box theme does look a little dated but what hides within is a highly configurable and flexible.

The Top Features or reasons for choosing Wordpress:

· Most popular blogging engine in the world (Excluding provided services such as yahoo, MySpace, Blogger )

· Because of the popularity of Wordpress thousands of plug-ins, modules and themes exist that are updated when a new version of Wordpress I released

· Lots of users means lots of documentation and support, there are thousands of people that are happy to help you to get your blog up and running or provide advice when something goes wrong and needs to be fixed.

· Wordpress is free and runs on with PHP and MySQL which are also free.

· Great for users who are familiar with Linux and PHP

Negatives:

· Runs on PHP which regularly has security issues, which is not an issue if you regularly update your PHP install

· Wordpress is only a blogging platform (no forums, photo gallery)

· Harder to be configured to act as a traditional website with articles.

Community Server

Community Server is more than just a blogging platform but in fact a Community Platform with Blogging, forums, and photo galleries. Being a community platform it is designed to host multiple blogs.

Compared to Wordpress Community server is a lot younger and does not have anywhere near as many plug-ins, modules and themes, but from my experienced of both Community Server and Wordpress community server is easier to theme with its Chameleon Teaming engine.

Top features or reasons for choosing Community Server:

· Runs on IIS, asp dot net and MS SQL so If you’re a Windows person this might be a good reason to choose Community Server

· Community Server is quickly being adopted by big enterprise for their companies internal and external blogging platform, some of the companies that have adopted Community Server include, Microsoft, Intel, Readers Digest, National Geographic, MSNBC Blogs, Mazda, Honda (Internal), Electronic Arts, Visa, MySpace (for their community forums)

· Community Server is more than a Blogging platform, but a community platform, with blogging, forum, and picture gallery options.

· Free edition available for personal use named “Personal Edition”

· Very easy to use and administer

· Community Server was developed with Search Engine Optimization in mind, which means its easier to get your articles higher in Google and other search engines.

· Easy to turn into a traditional website

Negatives:

· The biggest disadvantage with Community Server is the licensing aspect/cost of the technologies it runs on, Windows Server, IIS, MSSQL, but many hosting companies such as GoDaddy offer Community Server with no additional cost.

· Younger product with less plug-ins, modules, and support than Wordpress

I would recommend Community Server if you are a Windows, or Microsoft Technology person with skills in Asp, IIS, MSSQL. I you require more than just a blog, for instance Photo Gallery, and or forums, with its shared, account/membership database. If you are a Linux, PHP, MySQL person and want a very stable well established platform then go for Wordpress.

As I have said the best platform depends on what you require and your personal experience with various technologies. Personally I am a Microsoft person so the majority of websites and blogs I develop are with Community Server, yet have developed some sites and blogs with Wordpress when there is a feature that is missing in Community Server. I love the fact I have a forums and photo gallery integrated into Community Server, it gives my blogs and websites and additional dimension and find blogs, forums and photo galleries complement each other, allowing a richer website and Community.

I have mentioned about Windows, IIS, ASP, Linux, MySQL, MSSQL knowledge, if you are a person that does not have knowledge don’t be put off either Wordpress or Community Server, as there are many website hosting companies that will automate your Wordpress or Community Server install, and you will be able to develop a very professional looking blog without this knowledge. This knowledge comes handy for someone like myself who wants to tinker with and perform complex customizations.

If you are after blog hosting I highly recommend GoDaddy, for both Community Server and Wordpress hosting, so if you are after blog hosting take a look at the GoDaddy website.

Millionaire who wants to be one – If fairly sure if I ask the question Millionaire who wants to be one, 99% of people will raise their hand, so what I have decided to do is outline a few golden rules to get you started on your way to becoming a millionaire internet blogger.

As I have said in previous posts and regularly in public, there are several golden rules that need to be followed when it comes to success in any medium and are especially true in the online world, following these rules will have you well on the way to answering yes that’s me, when asked Millionaire who wants to be one?

Out of all the golden rules I list below the first one Develop strong relationships is the most important and will really mean the difference between success and failure.

Develop strong relationships with as many people in your niche as possible, this not only means developing new friendships, but also developing your current friendships and relationship further. You would have heard the term it’s not what you know but who you know and this applies just as much to the online world as it does in everyday life, having a large group of dedicated friends will really mean the difference between success and failure.

So how you develop relationship & friends? Well that’s easy, using social networking websites such as Facebook and MySpace, start by inviting people you know from your niche as friends in facebook or MySpace, then expand your friends by adding 10-30 new friends daily. Getting these new friends can be found by looking for readers and boggers in your niche and then dropping them a quick invite saying something similar to below:

“I really enjoyed your blog about Investment, I too run a blog called XYZ, and was thinking we could exchange thoughts and ideas, I have sent you a facebook friend request please accept if you are interested.”

Just imagine adding 10-30 new friends per day to your network of friends within no time you should have a few hundred and even a few thousands. Now look at the ability you will have to market your blogs and websites, the opportunities are enormous, from being able to send out updates about your blog to informing your friends of what you are up to, promoting new niche related products, programs, and information.

Another great idea is to add a Facebook profile badge to your blog and encourage visitors to add you as a friend

Now that you have all these new friends you need to maintain and develop these friendships further, you can maintain this friendship by replying to their friend request with a thank you then continue with a very brief introduction outlining your blog, who you are, and confirming you would like to exchange niche related ideas with them.

Ensure all your posts are high quality and consistent.

You don’t need to be, and not everyone is a Pulitzer award winning writer, but taking a little care to ensure your posts are clear, concise, and are free of spelling and grammatical mistakes is critical. In my experience the only way to achieve this is to double and triple check your writing, and then after triple checking, before posting I usually take a break to do something else for a while. Finally I return to my post and do a final check. Having this break before publishing takes your mind away from your topic and allows you to look back with a slightly different prospective and benefit of time, I am amazed by the mistakes I pickup on and the improvements my post. Multiple Revenue sources

As I have mentioned on many occasions, multiple revenue sources really ads the cream, jam and icing to the cake, boosting by many times what you can earn from a single revenue source.

Given my example if I solely relied on Google Adsense I would only be earning $3,000 per month across my network of websites. With the addition of multiple revenue sources such as Text-link-ads, WidgetBucks, various affiliate programs (PepperJamNETWORK, AzoogleAds, and Commission Junction) and most importantly private ad sales my monthly revenue is five times of what I earn from Google Adsense.

Multiple revenue sources also allows you to trial and test new revenue generating programs, and networks, to over time optimize your blogs total earnings.

Develop your RSS Readership

Promoting your RSS feeds and developing your RSS readership is another golden rule which is often overlooked. If a visitor subscribes to your RSS feed it means they will never looks your blog and will most importantly return in the future. If you can encourage even a third of your blogs visitors to subscribe within no time you will have a huge daily readership that many bloggers will envy.

Generate Buzz

Today there are literally millions of Blogs on the internet, each vying for valuable readers, and a piece of the internet revenue pie. So the only way to be noticed is to generate Buzz by thinking outside the box, which can easily be achieved by ensuring your content is exciting and well written, a few buzz strategies you can use include:

- Partnerships with other Blogs and Bloggers, which may include guest writers, link swapping/sharing.

- Tools and content that draw additional visitors via Google and other blogs (link bait)

- Competitions, everyone likes things for free, which is why competitions can help to generate heaps of buzz and visitors.

- Forum attached/associated with your blog, are great because they have a life of their own with content generated by its readers/members.

Keyword Domination

It’s a fact that the majority of new visitors you receive will be via Google (75-90%), especially when you are starting out. So it’s extremely important that the posts you publish are keyword optimized so that you receive maximum visits to each and every post. Performing keyword and phrase research will allow you to find key phrases that have a high volume of searches yet with little competition from other blogs and websites which will in effect increase your total number of visitors.

I traditionally used to do Keyword research manually which was extremely time consuming, but in recent months I found a tool called Micro Niche Finder, which is the best Keyword research tool available on the market today. You simply insert your desired keyword or phrase, then Micro Niche Finder will then spit out, similar keywords and phrases, after which you chose the ones you like and use the tool to get statistics like the number of searches the key phrase has per month, the number of competing pages, and a Strength of Competition (SOC) Score, which basically tells you how optimized those pages are for a key phrase.

This tool is a must if you are looking at getting into blogging to research which Niche to start blogging about, and to optimize your posts for high traffic/low competition keywords.

Look for new and innovative ideas to give your identity and blog the edge, some examples I can give include:

Being a blogger you are considered media or press, so sign up for press releases, and express interest in events organized by companies in your niche. Also send offers to companies to review their products, this is a little hard when your readership is low but it can’t hurt to try.

Over the years I have attended many cool media events and product launches for nix because I have demonstrated I can help to widen the exposure and awareness of a companies’ product and marketing campaigns. When attending media events remember to develop those relationships, chatting with everyone, taking down their details adding them into your Exchange/Outlook contacts and inviting them as a friend to your social networking websites, such as facebook.

The coolest media event recently attended was the Launch of Singapore Airlines Airbus A380, allowing me to write some great content for my Business Travel website The Business Travel Guru and also allowing me to create some great relationships.

If you promote a product or service of another company, let them know, and who know you might end up with a mention that company’s website.

Start Video blogging Video blogging is the next big thing in the blogging world giving yourself and blog an extra personalised dimension that your readers will appreciate.

I cannot say I am a millionaire from blogging yet, but using the above rules has allows me to say I am well on the way to becoming an internet blogging millionaire, if I am asked Millionaire who wants to be one?

Blogging about current events a real world example

In a recent post (Blogging tip of the week: Blog about current media events) I talked about the merits of blogging about current news and media events, well, to show everyone how good this method works, I have setup a brand new blog (Currently only four days old)

So what have I decided to blog about?

Since the biggest media event at the moment is the Spice Girls reunion tour, which kicked off Sunday night in Vancouver Canada, I decided that was the best current example I could use to emphasise the advantages of blogging about current media event.

So Saturday I registered SpiceTour.net and spent a few hours that day getting my community server blog up and running. Anyway please check it out the address again is http://SpiceTour.net why not put your comments about the Spice Girls tour and help to prove that blogging about current media events is a great idea.

With the Spice Girls are only on tour until March 2008 this blog has a limited life span, unless they continue to release songs and tour, one note if I was really serious about trying to make this the number one Spice Girls Tour blog I would have purchased an expiring domain name so I could take advantage of the old websites Google Page Rank, with that said this new domain name will be perfectly surfice to prove my point.

I will be posting weekly regular traffic reports so you can see how this real life experiment is going.

Google Analytics for the past 4 days is as follows, not too bad for a blog that is so young, lets see how thing go over the next few months.

I was looking over some of the photo I took at a recent media event I attended for NetMoneyFAQ's sister blog The Business Travel Guru finding the photo below, if I had not been at the media event I would have wondered what in the world are those Singapore Girls doing, so close that big jet engine?

Is it Initiation for Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 flight attendants?

No its not, as part of the whole media event yes you too could have your photo taken sitting between two lovely Singapore Airlines A380 flight attendants!

Alas I missed my opportunity as a colleague had to get back to the office, and it was a long line waiting for the opportunity.
