Seeing a few posts about RSSHugger, I wondered if it was
just another RSS Aggregator or something more. I decided to them a try as they
are dropping their normal $10 registration fee if you write a post or review
about their website.

So is RSSHugger just
another RSS Aggregator or something more, my first impressions are that it
is very basic in features, this does not mean it can’t help push traffic to
your site, in fact the simplicity of the site is what it has going for it in
these early stages of life.
The idea is to register your website’s RSS feed with
RSSHugger after which your blogs listing and feed has a chance of being
displayed in the Random Blogs new RSS Feeds or Search page on RSSHugger website,
if your blog or website is very popular and one of the top 100 read it will be
displayed on in the top 100 list.
The founder of RSSHugger Colin LaHay has the following to
say about RSSHugger, and the idea behind the site:
“rssHugger is a unique
website that aims to bring bloggers and readers together. rssHugger aims to
provide blog owners with a unique easy-to-use way to promote their blogs by
sending them traffic, building backlinks for search engine optimization, as
well as attracting new rss subscribers if the content is interesting to the
reader. rssHugger aims to help visitors be able to easily find blogs that write
about subjects they are interested in. These subjects include: internet
marketing, making money online, charity, sports, gambling, and many more. If
the visitors find a blog that they had not previously heard about, they can
easily add it to their RSS readers or bookmark it.”
You can see how your listing will display in RSSHugger by taking a look at my listing on the RSSHugger Website http://www.rsshugger.com/netmoneyfaq.com
Getting in early and listing your feed before the majority
of other bloggers get on board is the secred here with likes of John Chow and
Aaron Wall currently blogging about RSSHugger, you will get great exposure,
especially if you can be one of the initial 100 to signup. At the time of writing this post there were only 28 registered RSS Feeds on RSSHugger
Why not give the service a try, what is there to lose, just
write a review of the RSSHugger site and the listing on their site is free. I
will post a follow up in about a week to write about how RSSHugger is going and
how much it has increased traffic to my blog NetMoneyFAQ.
